Onsite workers today

On Prestarts, Onsite Workers opens the list of everyone signed on today on this project, whether they signed on to a prestart or with Start Shift. “Today” is the project’s day, in the project’s time zone.

The search box narrows the list by name, company or supervisor.
The shift buttons (All shifts, Day, Afternoon, Night) narrow it by shift. A Start Shift sign-on with no shift appears under All shifts only.
Click a worker to open their docket. A worker is greyed out when they have no docket, or when it is a docket you cannot open.

A worker who signed on twice in a day (for example to a prestart and again with Start Shift) appears once per sign-on.

Who sees whom

Master admins, organisational managers and project admins see everyone on the project.
Supervisors and senior supervisors see the crews they supervise, including prestarts where they are an associated supervisor.
Engineers see everyone while Export whole project is on (the default), and their assigned supervisors’ crews when it is off (everyone, when none are assigned).
Other roles do not see the Onsite Workers button.

Download

Download saves the Onsite Workers file for the day and shift on screen. The search box is not applied. The file downloads by itself; no email is sent. It is also kept in Recent reports for 90 days.

The same report is under Reports › Diaries & prestarts › Onsite Workers, with a Date and a Shift choice.

The file

The file is named Onsite Workers (<Project> - <Mmm D, YYYY>).csv, for example Onsite Workers (Harbour Bridge - Jul 14, 2026).csv. It has one row per sign-on, in sign-on order, and these seven columns:

Column	What it holds
`supervisor`	The sign-on’s supervisor. Blank for a Start Shift sign-on with no supervisor.
`prestart_location`	The prestart’s location, or the Start Shift location.
`prestart_date`	The prestart’s date and time, for example `06:30 am - 24/09/2026`. Blank without a prestart.
`signee`	The worker’s full name.
`supplier`	The company that engaged the worker, or the one on their profile. Blank for your own staff.
`resource_type`	The worker’s role on the project.
`sign_on_time`	When they signed on, for example `Sep 24, 2026 6:09 pm`.

Times are in the project’s time zone.

Mobile

The prestart menu’s Onsite Workers shows the same list for people who can see it. Mobile has no download.
