Dayworks Report

Every docket on one project for a date range, one row per docket, with its day works, shift times, hours, photos and diary sign-offs. The file is a CSV with the same 31 columns as the Dayworks Report from Lacroo Core, so existing spreadsheets keep working.

Who can run it

Anyone whose role has dockets Export CSV. By default that is Master Admin, Org Manager, Project Admin and Engineer.

What the file contains depends on your role:

RoleDockets in the file
Master Admin, Org Manager, Project AdminEvery docket on the project.
EngineerThe whole project while Export whole project is on in your role (the default). With it off: dockets carrying one of your assigned cost codes in their activity hours, plus dockets with no cost-coded hours.
Supervisor, Senior SupervisorOnly when an admin switches Export CSV on for the role. Then: the dockets where you are the supervisor or an additional supervisor.

Day Works Rate and Day Works Amount need dockets View pricing. Without it those two cells are blank; every other column is filled.

A report only ever contains the dockets you can open in Lacroo. See Reports for how files, emails and history work.

How to run it

  1. Open Reports › Dockets › Dayworks Report Export.
  2. Pick Diary Date From and Diary Date To. The range starts on the first of this month and ends today.
  3. Optionally narrow it with the filters below.
  4. Check the row count and the first 100 rows in the preview. Photo links are not shown in the preview; they are in the file. With Diary Supervisors, Docket Type or Docket Status set, the count reads Up to and the file can have fewer rows. The preview can show fewer rows too.
  5. Click Export Daywork Report.

You get a “Report ready for download!” email with a Download Report button, and the report appears in Recent reports. Files are kept for 90 days. When a run fails or its file expires, Run Again makes a fresh copy with today’s data.

Submitted, Approved and Checked

All six sign-off cells come from one diary: the diary the docket belongs to, or, for a subcontractor docket reached through several diaries, the first one it was added to. The times are in the project’s time zone, e.g. 03:43 PM 2026-05-04.

The file

A CSV named <Project> - Dayworks Report (<Mmm d, yyyy> to <Mmm d, yyyy>).csv, for example Riverside Road Upgrade - Dayworks Report (Aug 1, 2026 to Aug 31, 2026).csv. Every value is in quotes, and it opens in Excel with accented names intact. A value Excel would run as a formula, such as =SUM(A1), is written so Excel shows it as text.

Differences from Core

  • The row count covers this project only and applies only the dates and Diary Status.
  • An emptied filter means all.
  • Diary Status is the diary’s current status.
  • The three sign-off times show real minutes.
  • Checked On comes from the same diary as Checked By.
  • Submitted By names the person who submitted the diary when that is recorded.
  • Diary Supervisors covers every diary a docket is in.
  • Every run ends with a status and an email.
  • The file ends in .csv, with standard CSV quoting and accented names intact.
  • Docket Photos has no stray leading , .
  • Times use the project’s time zone.
  • A range that ends before it starts is refused.
  • Rows are in date order, then creation order.
  • One label for plant operator dockets.
  • Subcontractor dockets’ crew day works are included.
  • Diary Date To starts on today.
  • Downloads need you to be signed in.
  • A range with no dockets says so plainly.
  • Docket Type labels on dockets created in Lacroo Pro follow the same table as the other docket reports.

Dockets migrated from Core

  • Docket Unique ID is the Lacroo id, not the Core one.
  • Core’s own Docket Type label, Docket Unit Qty and Break Duration text are kept.
  • A migrated docket with no day works entered in Lacroo shows Core’s day works.
  • Supplier is the company’s name in Lacroo (INTERNAL where the supplier was the project’s own company).
  • Resource Name B shows the docket’s second resource.
