Activities Report
Every activity on a project with its quantities and cost, by day.
Where it is and who can use it
Reports › Field reporting › Activities.
Anyone who can view the activity workbench on the project can open it.
| Person | Activities they get |
|---|---|
| Supervisor | Activities on their own diaries and prestarts, and on the ones they are an associated supervisor on. |
| Engineer | Every activity on the project while Export whole project is on (the default). With it off: activities of their assigned supervisors, or every activity when none are assigned. |
| Admin | Every activity on the project. |
The table, the CSV and the Excel file always hold the same activities for the same person and filters.
Filters
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Start date | First day to include. |
| Finish date | Last day to include. Up to 732 days after the start date. |
| Supervisors | Only these supervisors’ activities. Empty means all supervisors. |
| Status | Only activities on diaries with these statuses. All ticked means no limit. |
An activity’s day is its diary’s date. An activity on a prestart with no diary (the prestart was never published, or its diary was deleted) uses the prestart’s day in the project’s time zone.
Choosing particular statuses leaves out activities that have no diary.
Export Excel
Export Excel starts the report with the filters on screen.
- It appears under Excel exports below the table.
- You get an email when it is ready. If nothing matches, the email says “No activities found.”
- Each export has Download when it is ready, Run Again when it failed or expired, and Delete.
- Files are kept for 90 days.
The Excel file
The file is named after the project and the dates, for example Riverside Road Upgrade Activities Report 22 June 2026 - 28 June 2026.xlsx.
Dates in the file are DD/MM/YYYY.
