Issues Log Report
A spreadsheet of the issues raised on one project in a date range: one row per issue, 28 columns, oldest first. The file is named after the project and the dates, for example Riverside Road Upgrade Issues Log 1 Jan 2026 - 25 Sept 2026.csv.
Who can run it
Anyone with Issues › Export issues. By default that is the master admin, organisational manager, project admin, engineer, senior supervisor and supervisor roles. Labour, plant operators, subcontractors and clients cannot run it.
| Person | Issues they get |
|---|---|
| Admin | Every issue on the project. |
| Engineer | Every issue on the project, whether Export whole project is on or off for their role. |
| Supervisor and senior supervisor | The issues they raised, supervise or are assigned to. The same issues their Issues register shows. |
| Any role with Export whole project on | Every issue on the project. |
Engineers already see every issue on the project, so the Export whole project switch makes no difference to this report for them.
A supervisor’s Supervisor and Raised By lists show only the people on the issues they can see.
How to run it
Open Reports › Commercial › Issues Log, or click Export on Issues. Export shows only to people who can run the report. It fills in the status, type, supervisor and raised-by filters you are looking at; the dates start at this month. It never starts a report by itself.
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Raised From, Raised To | Whole days in the project’s calendar, both included. No maximum range. Leave Raised From blank to start at the first issue, or Raised To blank to end today. |
| Supervisor | Only issues these people supervise. Empty means everyone, including issues with no supervisor. |
| Raised By | Only issues these people raised. Empty means everyone. |
| Status | Only issues with these statuses. Empty means every status, including issues with none. |
| Type | Only issues of these types. Empty means every type, including issues with none. |
| Columns | Untick a column to leave it out of the file. The others keep their order. |
Then choose Download or Email me and click Export Issues.
- Download: the file downloads by itself when it is ready. No email is sent.
- Email me: you get an email, “Issues Report is Ready!”, with the file attached. A file over 5 MB is not attached; the email’s Download Report button opens it instead.
Files are kept for 90 days. When nothing matches you see “No issues match these filters.”, and an emailed run tells you there were no results. A run that fails always emails you.
A file holds up to 50,000 issues. Above that, choose a shorter date range.
The columns
| # | Column | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Project | The project’s name. |
| 2 | Supervisor | The issue’s supervisor. |
| 3 | Issue Heading | The heading. |
| 4 | Location | The location. |
| 5 | Reference Document | The reference document. |
| 6 | Cause | The cause. Line breaks stay inside the cell. |
| 7 | Cost Code | The cost code. |
| 8 | Cost Impact | A plain number, for example 6000 or -74.25. |
| 9 | Impact | The impact. |
| 10 | Program Code | Only for issues brought over from Lacroo Core. Blank otherwise. |
| 11 | Time Impact | Days, as a plain number. Issues brought over from Lacroo Core keep Core’s exact value, part days included (for example 0.1). |
| 12 | Issue ID | The issue’s number, for example 6139-0001. |
| 13 | Issue Type | The type. |
| 14 | Issue Status | The status. |
| 15 | Raised By | The person who raised it. Blank where Lacroo Core recorded no one. |
| 16 | Identified Date | As YYYY-MM-DD. |
| 17 | Raised Date | The day it was raised, in the project’s calendar, as YYYY-MM-DD. For issues brought over from Lacroo Core, Core’s own date; otherwise the day it was created. The Raised From / Raised To filter reads this date. |
| 18 | Raised Value | As $#,##0.00, for example $14,000.00 or -$74.25. |
| 19 | Notified Date | As YYYY-MM-DD. |
| 20 | Notified Value | As $#,##0.00. |
| 21 | Submitted Date | As YYYY-MM-DD. |
| 22 | Submitted Value | As $#,##0.00. |
| 23 | Assessed Date | As YYYY-MM-DD. |
| 24 | Assessed Value | As $#,##0.00. |
| 25 | Agreed Date | As YYYY-MM-DD. |
| 26 | Agreed Value | As $#,##0.00. |
| 27 | EOT Reference | The EOT reference. |
| 28 | isEOT | true or false. |
An empty value is a blank cell. A stage value not entered yet shows $0.00; for issues brought over from Lacroo Core it stays blank where Core had no value.
Spreadsheet safety
A cell that starts with =, +, -, @, a tab or a line break gets a leading ', so Excel shows it as text and never runs it as a formula. Numbers and dollar values stay as they are.
Differences from Lacroo Core
- Raised By has its own column, and Raised Value sits after Raised Date.
- Only the chosen project’s issues, never another project’s.
- The Supervisor, Raised By, Status and Type lists show this project’s people, statuses and types only.
- An empty filter means everyone. Issues with no supervisor, status or type, and issues supervised by a senior supervisor, are never dropped.
- Dates use the project’s calendar, whoever runs the report and wherever they are.
- Every cell is escaped properly, so commas, quotes and line breaks stay in their cell.
- The file has the full header row, and a name that says the project and the dates.
- The email goes only to you, the person who ran the report.
The register’s Export and the app’s Export CSV
On Issues, the Export in the bar that appears when you select rows, and Export CSV in the mobile app, still download the register’s own file. They also need Issues › Export issues, and they include only the issues you can see on the register.
