Material Dockets Export

Every material delivery on one project for a date range, one row per material line, as a CSV in the layout of Lacroo Core’s Material Docket Export. Existing spreadsheets that read Core’s file keep working.

Who can run it

Anyone whose role has dockets View pricing. By default that is Master Admin, Org Manager, Project Admin, Engineer, Senior Supervisor and Supervisor. Labour, Operator and Client users cannot run it.

What the file contains depends on your role:

RoleDeliveries in the fileOpens on
Master Admin, Org Manager, Project AdminEvery material docket on the project.Full (15 columns)
Supervisor, Senior SupervisorMaterial dockets where you are the supervisor or an associated supervisor.Short (12 columns)
EngineerThe whole project while Export whole project is on in your role (the default). With it off: material dockets with no cost-coded hours, plus those on your assigned cost codes, or every material docket when none are assigned. Cost codes on material lines do not count.Full (15 columns)

A report only ever contains the dockets you can open in Lacroo. See Reports for how history and file retention work.

How to run it

  1. Open Reports › Dockets › Material Dockets, or click Material Dockets report on the Docket Workbench’s Materials view. It fills in the view’s dates and supervisors; it does not start a run.
  2. Pick From and To. Both are required.
  3. Optionally narrow it with Supervisors and Diary Status, and choose Columns.
  4. Check the row count under the filters, then click Generate.

The file downloads by itself in the tab that started it, and the report appears in Recent reports. Files are kept for 90 days. If a run fails you get an email saying so. When a run fails or its file expires, Run Again makes a fresh copy with today’s data.

Filters

FilterWhat it does
From / ToThe delivery day on the project’s calendar, both days included. Up to two years.
SupervisorsKeeps deliveries where the person you picked is the docket’s supervisor, the supervisor of the diary it sits on, or an associated supervisor. The file can hold more deliveries than the Docket Workbench shows for the same supervisors.
Diary StatusThe live status of the diary the delivery sits on: Draft, Submitted or Approved (reviewed or confirmed). A delivery on no diary uses its own step. A delivery created without a shift type is never attached to a diary automatically, so it reads its own status.
ColumnsFull (15 columns) or Short (12 columns). Short leaves out Source Location, Delivery Location and Construction Lot. It changes the columns, never the rows.

Leaving Supervisors or Diary Status empty means all.

The columns

One row per material line on each delivery, by date, then docket, then line. A delivery with no lines prints one row with its total (blank if it was never priced).

ColumnWhat it shows
ProjectThe project name.
Diary DateThe delivery day, dd/mm/yyyy.
SupervisorThe docket’s supervisor, otherwise the supervisor of its diary. Blank when there is neither.
ActivityThe activity the line is charged to. On a delivery with no lines, the docket’s activity when it has only one.
Cost CodeThat activity’s cost code, otherwise the docket’s own cost code.
PO Line Item No.The line of the purchase order behind the material’s rate.
PO NumberThe purchase order behind the material’s rate. A delivery migrated from Core prints Core’s own PO number and line.
Line Item DescriptionThe material, as recorded on the delivery.
Source LocationWhere the material came from. NA when empty. Full layout only.
Delivery LocationWhere it was delivered. NA when empty. Full layout only.
Construction LotThe answer to the “Construction Lot” question on the delivery. NA when empty. Full layout only.
QtyThe delivered quantity.
UnitThe unit, e.g. m3, tonne, each.
RateThe rate per unit.
AmountThe amount billed for the line, including any minimum top-up. So Qty × Rate can be below Amount.

Filling Construction Lot

Add a question labelled Construction Lot to material dockets, on the project or as a company template. When a delivery has answers under more than one such question, the first non-empty answer wins: a material docket question before a general docket question, the project’s before the company template’s.

The file

A CSV named <Project> Material Docket Export <From> - <To>.csv, for example Riverside Road Upgrade Material Docket Export 1 Sept 2026 - 25 Sept 2026.csv. Every value is in quotes and the file opens in Excel with symbols such as m² intact. Text that looks like a formula stays as plain text.

Coming from Core

  • Diary Date prints day-first (23/09/2026).
  • The file is named after the project and dates, not data.csv.
  • An empty Supervisors filter means everyone.
  • Every material delivery in the date range is included, on a diary or not.
  • Rate prints the stored number.
  • Dates follow the project’s calendar, not the downloader’s browser.
  • A range with no deliveries says “No material dockets found for these dates.”
  • Rows always come out in the same order: date, docket, line.
  • Standard CSV escaping, with real line breaks.
  • Core’s COINS Export button is replaced by Export ▾ › Push to COINS (see ERP Push).

Deliveries migrated from Core

  • Source Location and Delivery Location print NA; they were not carried over.
  • Units use Lacroo’s words (EA is ea, TN is tonne).
  • A blank Core quantity prints 0.
  • With Export whole project off, an Engineer gets a migrated delivery that has an activity only when its cost code is assigned to them, or when no cost codes are assigned to them.
  • A delivery from Lacroo Core that is not linked to its diary counts as not on a diary for Diary Status and the diary-supervisor match.
